These were a big hit, my husband said they were the bet baked potatoes ever!!!!! I used cheddar cheese that had bacon bits already in it. Yum!

I was not sure about the microwave but decided to give it a try anyway & was glad I did! This was so easy & yummy! My husband, 4 yr old & 2 yr old LOVED it! Served with a bowl of chili & had NO leftovers! Will make again & again!

I got as far as "pre-heat oven to 400. Put potato on microwavable dish" and decided not to trust the rest of the recipe.

Great recipe especially with bacon bits added. Someone commented on being confused about oven and microwave both being used. The potato is initially cooked in the microwave and after stuffing is finished in the 400 degree oven. Hope this helps clariy that.
