Omitted nuts when I made it, my husband can't eat them. Will mostly likely make it again.

This is sooo good! It's yummy! The first time my daughter made it she used generic ingredients and it still came out really good. She's made it since and it's now one of my favorite deserts.

It turned out pretty good. The only thing I did differently was to use a higher quality sour cream than it called for. I used apples because I don't like cherries. I had to cook it a long time for the middle to get done, and the sides overcooked somewhat. I won't make this again.

I didn't have white cake, so I substituted butter cake and it was fine. The end product is not only tasty but attractive with the confectioners sugar glaze on it.

I made this for Mother's Day and took it into work. Everyone loved it, including myself. I split the recipe into two 8x8 and left the almonds off. Very, very good.
