It turned out pretty good. The only thing I did differently was to use a higher quality sour cream than it called for. I used apples because I don't like cherries. I had to cook it a long time for the middle to get done, and the sides overcooked somewhat. I won't make this again.

I didn't have white cake, so I substituted butter cake and it was fine. The end product is not only tasty but attractive with the confectioners sugar glaze on it.

This recipe was super easy and absolutely delicious! I omitted the almonds and it still came out tasting great! I will be making this again!!

this recipe turned out great, the whole family loved it. ive also used apple pie filling and blueberry as well. all 3 were great, the possibilities are endless. nice light but filling recipe!

I made this for Mother's Day and took it into work. Everyone loved it, including myself. I split the recipe into two 8x8 and left the almonds off. Very, very good.

This came out quite well. I used apple pie filling instead and topped it with walnuts. This was a delicious and sweet treat.

This really is a terrible recipe. My husband did not like it either. I'm really sorry that I wasted all those ingredients. It is not cheap to make and I plan on putting it in the garbage.
