I made this cake for Easter yesterday and it got rave reviews!! So simple to make and it came out just like the picture. I would definitely make this again with different kinds of fruit fillings (though cherry is my favorite!)

SO EASY. And very impressive looking. My advice to someone about to try this recipe: halfway through, take the cake out and cover the edges with foil...

I used french vanilla cake mix instead of white. Turned out very good. Nice and moist. My family really enjoyed this.

this was pretty good! So I made some changes to the recipe that worked nicely. Firstly, I used french vanilla cake mix instead of plain white cake mix for extra flavor. I doubled the cinnamon amount the recipe called for and I used Lite Apple pie filling instead of cherry. This all worked really nicely - my family really liked it. Except my family isn't really into pie fillings in general, so they requested I just use regular cut up apples instead next time. I will be making this again!

I made this, but used strawberry pie filling. The pie filling just didn't work for me. It was runny, more like a strawberry shortcake. I added a cream cheese filling, which was good. I had to cook it longer than called for. Another type filling would work better, I think. It was good though!

Super recipe...very easy to make...carried it to a church breakfast & was asked for the recipe. Will definitely be keeping this one!

I made this and had to throw it out. The cake would not get done in the middle. I left it in quite a few minutes longer and the outside got very brown and the inside was gummy. If anyone has any ideas why this happened, let me know. This is the first Kraft recipe that I have had to throw out!
