This was awful. Took suggestions and seasoned heavenly, but nothing could add flavor to this.
We added shrimp and chicken to this recipe. Topped it with Parmesan cheese. The kids even loved it
it is ok. i kind of like it.
My husband & I had this the other night. It was great being all in one pan. We did find that it needed some seasoning, perhaps some minced garlic which gives awesome flavor and maybe Italian seasonings...there was some left over so he took it to work for lunch. A co-worker saw how colorful it was,what it was & also for the recipe! There you go! Just needs a bit of zip!
Just made this tonight for my kids and myself. They ate it and didn't even notice the spinace. Just an FYI my kids are 4 and 2 and we only had a small serving left over. If my kids were older and ate more or my husband was home for dinner I would double the recipe.
I made this last night. Added one can of water to tomatoes in pan. Also added some garlic powder, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, pepper and a can of cannellini beans which I had drained and rinsed. Topped with some mozarella and parmesan cheese. It was juicy and delicious - excellent flavor. My husband asked me to "make it often". We thought it may also be good with grilled chicken chunks or some Italian sausage. It was definitely a hit at our house!!
This is tasty. I added some chicken pieces that I had cooked in fat free Italian Dressing. I think I will make it again with plain diced tomatoes and add the spices I usually use when I make spaghetti sauce.
this was excellent dish but I did add a pinch of fresh nutmeg with the spinach. It adds a little more flavor
I have been making this for years. However, kick it up and add some chicken. It makes a great meal with wonderful leftovers
This recipe is excellent. I used two cans of basil, garlic and oregano along with 2 cups of water after reading other reviews. I used one box of Fiber Gourmet penne pasta which gave each serving an additional 18 grams of fiber. I served it with the Easy Parmesan-Garlic Chicken. Both go together very well. Yum yum yum!
