Creamy Chicken & Pasta Bake

What You Need

1-1/2

cups multigrain rotini pasta, uncooked

cups small broccoli florets

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

1/2

cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth

oz. (1/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, cubed

cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided

Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 375ºF.

COOK pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt and adding broccoli to the boiling water for the last 3 min.

MEANWHILE, heat large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 3 min. or until no longer pink, stirring frequently. Stir in broth; simmer 3 min. or until chicken is done. Add Neufchatel; cook and stir on low heat 1 min. or until melted. Stir in 1/2 cup mozzarella.

DRAIN pasta and broccoli. Add to chicken mixture; mix lightly. Spoon into 8-inch square baking dish; cover.

BAKE 15 min. or until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Bake, uncovered, 3 min. or until melted. Let stand 5 min.

Add 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves to skillet along with the chicken.

Substitute

Substitute 2-qt. casserole dish for the square baking dish.

How to Safely Handle Raw Chicken

Always wash hands, preparation surfaces and utensils in hot, soapy water before and after contact with raw chicken. Dry hands and surfaces with a clean towel or paper towels. Take special care in washing worn cutting boards as there may be hard-to-clean grooves or cracks that can collect bacteria.

I just made this recipe last nigt for my husband and I, I added a little Italian seasoning to the cheese mix. I will make it again but next time double the sauce mix.

My friend made this and said it was bland and a little dry. When I made it, I doubled the cream cheese and added onions and garlic powder. It was divine!

Overall, a tasty dish that is easy to make. I agree with another rater that said it was a little dry. My husband, who is a very picky eater, enjoyed this dish so it was a success. Great family dish!

This was quite good! Even my picky kids liked it. Next time though, I will make more sauce and add a little garlic to it.

Great!!I made this with fat free cream cheese, and thought it was wonderful. My family isn't in to pasta like me, but they loved it too!
