Creamy Chicken & Pasta Bake

What You Need

1-1/2

cups multigrain rotini pasta, uncooked

cups small broccoli florets

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

1/2

cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth

oz. (1/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, cubed

cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided

Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 375ºF.

COOK pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt and adding broccoli to the boiling water for the last 3 min.

MEANWHILE, heat large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 3 min. or until no longer pink, stirring frequently. Stir in broth; simmer 3 min. or until chicken is done. Add Neufchatel; cook and stir on low heat 1 min. or until melted. Stir in 1/2 cup mozzarella.

DRAIN pasta and broccoli. Add to chicken mixture; mix lightly. Spoon into 8-inch square baking dish; cover.

BAKE 15 min. or until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Bake, uncovered, 3 min. or until melted. Let stand 5 min.

Add 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves to skillet along with the chicken.

Substitute

Substitute 2-qt. casserole dish for the square baking dish.

How to Safely Handle Raw Chicken

Always wash hands, preparation surfaces and utensils in hot, soapy water before and after contact with raw chicken. Dry hands and surfaces with a clean towel or paper towels. Take special care in washing worn cutting boards as there may be hard-to-clean grooves or cracks that can collect bacteria.

could have used a smidge more salt, but other than that it was really good. Nice variation on the same old chicken, broccoli and pasta.

It didn't have a ton of flavor, but I may have put too much pasta in it. I added extra cheese to compensate, but it was still pretty bland.

I have made this several times. You can make it ahead of time and just put it in the oven later on. It is so easy to make and it tastes so good and gooey!!!

My kids are very picky and I mean picky, but all 5 of them LOVED this dish, I have put it on the menu to things to make all the time. Its very good!!

I also found it a bit bland. Some garlic salt fixed it right up. Otherwise excellent!
