Creamy Chicken & Pasta Bake

What You Need

1-1/2

cups multigrain rotini pasta, uncooked

cups small broccoli florets

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

1/2

cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth

oz. (1/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, cubed

cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided

Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 375ºF.

COOK pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt and adding broccoli to the boiling water for the last 3 min.

MEANWHILE, heat large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 3 min. or until no longer pink, stirring frequently. Stir in broth; simmer 3 min. or until chicken is done. Add Neufchatel; cook and stir on low heat 1 min. or until melted. Stir in 1/2 cup mozzarella.

DRAIN pasta and broccoli. Add to chicken mixture; mix lightly. Spoon into 8-inch square baking dish; cover.

BAKE 15 min. or until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Bake, uncovered, 3 min. or until melted. Let stand 5 min.

Special Extra

Add 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves to skillet along with the chicken.

Substitute

Substitute 2-qt. casserole dish for the square baking dish.

How to Safely Handle Raw Chicken

Always wash hands, preparation surfaces and utensils in hot, soapy water before and after contact with raw chicken. Dry hands and surfaces with a clean towel or paper towels. Take special care in washing worn cutting boards as there may be hard-to-clean grooves or cracks that can collect bacteria.

I add extra broth and cream cheese because the first time I made it the sauce was too thick and dry.

This was very easy and my husband and daughter loved it. The second time I made it I added garlic and italian seasoning and it was much tastier. A little bland without the additional seasoning. I stayed away from additional salt to keep it healthy, but it could use a little.

My family & I enjoyed this. It's simple, healthy, & fast. I forgot to cover it when I put it in the oven, next time I'm sure it will be creamier. My two yr. old loved it! I will be making this again.

Needs a little more flavor. I suggest using more cream cheese.

This was quick, easy and inexpensive to make. My family loved it, and I had leftovers to take to work for lunch. I also cooked more chicken than it called for to freeze for another meal on another day to save me time.
