Creamy Chicken & Pasta Bake

What You Need

1-1/2

cups multigrain rotini pasta, uncooked

cups small broccoli florets

lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces

1/2

cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth

oz. (1/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, cubed

cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided

Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 375ºF.

COOK pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt and adding broccoli to the boiling water for the last 3 min.

MEANWHILE, heat large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 3 min. or until no longer pink, stirring frequently. Stir in broth; simmer 3 min. or until chicken is done. Add Neufchatel; cook and stir on low heat 1 min. or until melted. Stir in 1/2 cup mozzarella.

DRAIN pasta and broccoli. Add to chicken mixture; mix lightly. Spoon into 8-inch square baking dish; cover.

BAKE 15 min. or until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses. Bake, uncovered, 3 min. or until melted. Let stand 5 min.

Add 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves to skillet along with the chicken.

Substitute

Substitute 2-qt. casserole dish for the square baking dish.

How to Safely Handle Raw Chicken

Always wash hands, preparation surfaces and utensils in hot, soapy water before and after contact with raw chicken. Dry hands and surfaces with a clean towel or paper towels. Take special care in washing worn cutting boards as there may be hard-to-clean grooves or cracks that can collect bacteria.

I love, love this receipe! This was quick & easy and very tasty to make! My family loved it the second they took a bit out of it! I've already made it twice and it's in my favorites so I can make it again & again! I have very picky eaters and this was quickly one of their favorite meals... Thanks Kraft Foods!

Very good. I added extra cream cheese, extra chicken broth, and used 6 cheese Italian shredded cheese. My husband loved it! I will definately make this again

Whole family (3 boys, ages 6 to 18 mos)loved this, and my husband is a "homemade meat and potatoes, eat no left-overs" kind of a guy. This has become a weekly staple. I definately add more pasta and I kind of taste-test as I go along to see if if's needs any more cheese or spices, but it's so easy. My alltime favorite Kraft recipe.

This was very good. I added twice the cream cheese and added garlic and onion powder. It has a subtle but delicious taste.

I made a full box of rotini and doubled the sauce. I thought it tasted a little bland, but my boyfriend absolutely loved it as is.

I have made this twice - the first time with chicken and parmesan and the second with filet of beef and cheddar - and we loved it. If you skip the oven, it is a super fast and simple meal.

I have to agree with some of the other reviews. It definately needs more sauce and lacks a bit of flavor. But it wasn't terrible. I think for sure next time I will add more cream cheese and season the chicken when I cook it.
