I cut the peaches too small on accident so I ended up serving them on the side. It was really good though! There were no leftovers.
The flavors were great and we solved the skewering issue by spearing the meat/bacon/peach roll instead of sliding it onto the skewer. The texture of the peach was AWFUL; it was slimy and mushy and unfortunately when I tried the chicken and bacon without the peach, the flavor wasn't nearly as good.
LOVED this recipe - YUM! I used nectarines instead of peaches, so I didn't have to deal with peeling. I agree with previous reviewer - very slippery to put together, but well worth the results. Best tasting chicken I've ever had on the grill! This is a REAL KEEPER!
My husband and I made the kabobs together. It was difficult because the ingredients are all rather slippery. He became frustrated and yelled we are NEVER making these again. Then he tasted them, and said... well maybe we'll find an easier method next time! :D these are extremely delicious.
