Very moist and quick to make. I make them with the salsa mixed in with the meat as directed, by my daughter doesn't like salsa on top so I use ketchup for her. My husband also likes BBQ sauce on his. Great recipe!

I love these! I have made them a few times and I actually have another batch in the oven as I write this! I'm sure the recipe would be great as it, but as many cooks would do, I have "personalized" it a bit. I put the entire salsa amount into the meat mixture and then when it's done baking I top it with bbq sauce and the extra cheese. Then stick it back in to melt the cheese. No matter how you cook it, this is a great easy recipe! My whole family loves it, from my 3 year old up to my husband (and his brother and mother and our best friends and their kids!) I've never had anyone not like this!

My whole family loved these! I used 93% lean beef and didn't find that they were too greasy at all. I did have to add about 8 minutes to the cooking time. Next time I will use a few more crackers but otherwise perfect! The kids loved them too!
