This was so good my kids enjoyed it (minus the peppers). I did add some salt, pepper, and garlic powder to it for seasoning. Definitely will make again

Adding Italian seasoning such as Oregano helps incorporate flavor throughout dish. Accidentally picked up ground sausage instead of sausage links, but worked just as well. With a dash of red pepper flakes and parmesan on top, tastes just like a supreme pizza.

A very good recipe. I used turkey italian sausage and took them out of the casings rather than slicing them. I also didn't have italian style tomatoes, so I used fire roasted diced tomatoes with garlic. Thought the sauce was just right and would not add an extra can of tomatoes as some others have suggested. A really filling, but healthy recipe if you use the turkey sausage.

Delicious recipe, added more tomatoes and sauteed garlic and onion with sausage and pepper added about 1 cup of beef broth to make more sauce. This is a keeper!!!

I've made this recipe quite a few times now and love it! Often times I freeze individual leftover containers so I have lunch options. If you like peppers, I highly recommend!
