I followed the directions, watched the video and the cake did not bake through. The toothpick came out clean but after taking it out of the oven, it sunk in the middle and flopped. I wanted it to work. It was for a special club dessert but did not. I wonder if it was because I used a butter type yellow cake mix???

Wow this cake is excellent. Made with out the pecans, this is so easy to make, very moist so yummy. This is a keeper recipe.

This is cake is wonderful!! You can reduce the amount of brown sugar....and the sour cream makes it soooo very moist. Everyone loved it and I will make it again very soon. I baked it only 45 minutes and it was done.

This is a definite keeper! I made it for my book club friends and the girls absolutely loved it!!! I've already made it a second time -leaving out the nuts for my husband and it's still delicious!

I left out the pecans and it still tasted great. It is a good cake to drink with coffee. Next time, I will decrease the sugar.

OMG!!! very moist and delicious. my family requested it again two days later for dessert. i used french vanilla pudding mix the second time and it was just as delicious. it's definitely going in the 'keep' pile.
