What You Need

pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix

pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

eggs

2/3

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

2/3

cup water

1/2

cup oil

cup packed brown sugar

cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans

tsp. powdered sugar

Enjoy serving MAXWELL HOUSE coffee with this delicious recipe.

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

BEAT first 6 ingredients with mixer until blended. Add brown sugar and nuts; mix well.

POUR into 12-cup fluted tube pan or 10-inch tube pan sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 1 hour or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool cake in pan 15 min. Loosen cake from sides of pan; invert onto wire rack. Remove pan; cool cake completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving.

Fantastic! Moist, moist, moist. THe brown sugar gave the outside a slightly sugary crusted outer edge, so good. The pecans added even more to it! This one will be new favorite at our house!

oh my goodness!!! Yes I would make this again!We have lunch at church next Sun. Cant wait to make it and take it.Its one of those recipies youll think you just want to keep eating.

Had to leave the nuts out and sub Almond Flavor,per request I frosted with cream cheese iceing. It was five stars when it hit the table. Hmmm!

I normally don't use mixes,so had to send my daughters to the market for them. OMG!!! They said they would have walked a hundred miles for the ingredients!!! Loved,loved, loved this cake.And definitely use the cinnamon sugar for the cakepan, well worth the effort. It's a KEEPER!!

This cake is AWESOME !!!!!! I have made 6 in the past 2 weeks. My daughter and daughter in law fight over it. I sent my mom the recipe. It is delicious.

It's o.k. It still tastes alot like the mix would taste minus all the extra things added. I would maybe make it again,but might instead opt for a true totally from scratch cake and avoid the cake mix taste altogether.

My family and co-workers loved this recipe! Not only is it so moist and flavorful it is so easy. I also love the fact that it is not expensive to make and ingredients are on hand anytime I need to make a cake!
