What You Need

pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix

pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

eggs

2/3

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

2/3

cup water

1/2

cup oil

cup packed brown sugar

cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans

tsp. powdered sugar

Enjoy serving MAXWELL HOUSE coffee with this delicious recipe.

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

BEAT first 6 ingredients with mixer until blended. Add brown sugar and nuts; mix well.

POUR into 12-cup fluted tube pan or 10-inch tube pan sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 1 hour or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool cake in pan 15 min. Loosen cake from sides of pan; invert onto wire rack. Remove pan; cool cake completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving.

This cake is absolutely delicious! I made it for a small dinner party and it was a huge hit. I will definitely make it again!

This was amazing!! Extremely moist..I added a 1 tsp. of pumpkin pie spice to the recipe and it was just perfect for a fall brunch I was having. Serve up with some seasonal coffee and this will certainly be a hit!!!

Cake was great. I used brown sugar the second time and it was better. Plan on using it several times for potlucks and dinners.

Wonderfully moist inside, crisp-like crust! Omitted the nuts and substituted chocolate chips. Also used a French Vanilla pudding because that is what I had on hand. An all-around delicious cake for breakfast or dessert. My husband couldn't get over just how moist it was. A keeper!
