What You Need

pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix

pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding

eggs

2/3

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

2/3

cup water

1/2

cup oil

cup packed brown sugar

cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans

tsp. powdered sugar

Enjoy serving MAXWELL HOUSE coffee with this delicious recipe.

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

BEAT first 6 ingredients with mixer until blended. Add brown sugar and nuts; mix well.

POUR into 12-cup fluted tube pan or 10-inch tube pan sprayed with cooking spray.

BAKE 1 hour or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool cake in pan 15 min. Loosen cake from sides of pan; invert onto wire rack. Remove pan; cool cake completely. Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving.

This cake is always a hit! Works great too for fundraiser auctions. Every year the proceeds from the cake go higher & higher!

This cake is AMAZING...Not to sweet and very moist. When I first made it my daughter asked "where is the frosting" the she took a bite and she was addicted...SO SO YUMMY!!!

My daughter made this for my birthday, and it was awesome! She used a caramel cake mix and added some butterscotch and PB chips to mix. After baking she filled middle with crushed butterfingers and white dipped pretzels and then drizzled with butter cream frosting. RICH... but great for a birthday treat.

This is my family's all time favorite cake recipe. It is also my most requested recipe. I made a brown sugar icing to go on top. When my son got married last year, he asked me to make this as his groom's cake. I made six of these for his wedding! People kept coming up to me asking for the recipe. It's great!!

I have made this cake many times and it is always good. I sometimes use banana pudding instead vanilla. This is a staple when I bake holiday gifts.

Make this cake many times! So good!!! I also tried the chocolate version, choco cake mix and choco pudding and I added choco chips. I dusted the top with icing sugar after it cooled...it tasted like brownies!!! Kids and adults went crazy for it! Thanks

The first time I made the recipe, I forgot the oil-it was still very good and I didn't realize it until I was giving the recipe to someone else. Great!
