Really easy and great. I did put seasoning in the beef the second time. The first time it was a little bland.
This has been a go-to recipe for years! I sub lean turkey and fat-free ricotta to lessen the fat content, and I let it cook for about 3-3.5 hours. Delicious!
Too much ricotta cheese. Bland and not healthy. Needs more noodles and beef and less cooking. Amendments have been made below to try next time. Noodles were too mushy at 4 hours. Try 3 hours 1 1/2 lb 675 g lean ground beef 7/8 cup 219 ml ricotta cheese 9 lasagna noodles, uncooked divide sauce and cheese 3 ways and make 3 layers of noodles instead of two.
Very easy and very good.
This recipe was good and super easy. Although I think the water diluted the flavor a bit. Next time, I think I'll use more seasonings with tomato juice.
we LOVE this recipe at our house...the one thing i like to use is the Ragu Parmesan & Romano gives it that extra lasagna taste! we also add spices to the meat as we brown it...I have never added the water and found it to be fine...still working on the amount of time to cook it...the noodles are a bit too mushy at times. Otherwise...this is an awesome addition to our monthly menu.
I made the lasagna for a fundraiser lunch at work and everyone loved it. I used ground chicken instead of beef and doubled everything in the recipe because I used a large crock pot. I will definitely make this again!
I have never been able to make lasagna until I found this recipe. Turns out great everytime. You can break the noodles to fit your cooker and/or overlap them to fit. My family loves this recipe.
This recipe is really good! I did add a bunch of things that I would normaly add to my pasta sauce. I also used cottage cheese instead of ricotta cheese. Very saucey and moist which we love. Done in 4 hrs in my slow cooker.
