Add peppers and onions, spice it up some. A little bland making it just as it's called for.
Love this recipe and have shared it with many at their request! Great for pot luck dinners, or a busy day. Easy, and less work than traditional lasagna in the pan, and better tasting in my opinion.
It was nice to have a hot meal to come home to. I added a little extra water and I did not need it. It made the noodles too soggy. My boys,ages 4 and 8 really liked it.
This lasagne was absolutely wonderful! I added sausage and it was fabulous! Even my picky little son asked for seconds!
I made this and it turned out really well, the noodles were so soft and the meal was excellent. Used parsley flakes instead of fresh. Will make this again, this is the most simpliest best tasting lasagna. Also cooked in slow cooker for 4hrs was all it needed. Add a salad and some garlic bread for a complete meal. :)
make sure you mix the cheeses separate from the meat and sauce. the recipe isn't clear about this and i mixed it all together. it was still very good and easy to make!

I love this recipe!!!! So simple & delicious. I used cottage cheese the first time & LOVED it. I used ricotta cheese the second time & everyone else loved it too. I have made this quite a few times now & it's great every time!!! Everythink is perfect with this recipe!!!!
This recipe was very easy to make. I like being able to put it on to cook and 4-6 hours later have a wonderful meal. Fix garlic toast and you have it all.
So very easy & it turned out great. I used uncooked egg noodles and cottage cheese instead of ricotta, everything else the same. The only thing I'd add is a little Mozzarella cheese between the layers to give it a more cheesy texture that we love. So quick & easy for a weeknight meal.
