This recipe only had a few ingredients but tasted like you slaved on it all day. Much less work than traditional lasagna also! I used 1 tsp of dried parsley instead of fresh. I also added 1 tsp of seasoning salt to the ricotta for more flavor. I used Ragu Old World Style tomato sauce, my husband at most of it:).

We made this the other night using dried parsley (and a little basil) rather than fresh (it was slow cooking didn't think was worth the trip to pick up fresh). We also made some of the Layered Enchilada Bake at the same time so did the meat all at once. Also pork sausage loose was cheapet than the ground beef so we mixed it in 1:2 (sausage:beef).

I love this recipe. Who knew you could make lasagna in the crock pot. I still make a few modifications to this recipe for my own tastes. Have a little extra sauce on hand, too. On busy nights, it's great to know a hot meal is at home waiting.

We have made this several times. It's a definite keeper. The first time we made it, we all (all 7 of us) found it to be a little bland. We have since "spiced it up" with garlic, and Italian seasoning... it's wonderful!

entire family of picky eaters loved this! the only downfall is if you cook for the entire 6hrs the noodles turn to disgusting mush... cooked for 4 1/2 the last time on low and it was perfect! Will continue to make many times! it pleases a picky 1st grader and picky husband:)

This recipe was very good. Instead of adding water I added extra spaghetti sauce, so I didn't have any issues with this being bland. Easy to put together, convenient to use the slow cooker. Husband and 7 year old both loved it. I would definitely make again.

This is the ONLY way to make Lasagna! I have made it several times and every time it is a winner. I will continue to use this recipe for Lasagna from now on. No hot oven in the summer!!

This lasagna was simple and convenient to prepare. I liked that you could use regular lasagna noodles without having to pre-boil them. The noodles do get extremely tender cooking for so many hours, but they didn't fall apart. I would recommend adding some seasoning, especially salt, to the beef while it's cooking for more flavor. I substituted pureed low-fat cottage cheese for the ricotta, regular shredded mozzarella for the 2%, and basil for the parsley and it turned out fine.
