Cheddar Chicken and Potatoes recipe
In this twist on meat and potatoes, chicken breasts carry the day. Bacon adds flavor and Cheddar cheese melts on top for ooey-gooey goodness.

I just made this for dinner tonight, and my husband who is not a chicken lover and a very picky eater loved this dish. This is something I plan on making again, very fast and east!

Very good and easy to make. I used "real" bacon bits, instead of cooking sliced bacon myself. Saved time and mess.

Hubby says its very, very good!..I made some revisions though. Marinated the chicken with salt, pepper, lemon pepper, lime juice and soy sauce then followed the rest of the instructions. But they particularly love the potatto, pepper, and onion part of the recipe. I will definitely do it again!

A big hit with the whole family! I did use some changes recommended by others though...I used hash browns versus the potato mix (my kids wouldn't go for the peppers in the other mix) and when I cooked the chicken, I used one of our favorite seasonings. I added a bit more bacon, as suggested. I was pretty liberal with the cheese topping since my kids love cheddar. Everyone requested the recipe become a regular.

Very bland! I even added a little water, chili powder and garlic to it while cooking the chicken, and then dumped the juices onto the potatoes (which I cooked in another pan). It also took longer than indicated in the recipe. Luckily I made the potatoes in another pan - it helped to speed things along. Maybe I just needed to play with my own seasonings a little more?

So easy and yummy. I didn't have the potatoes with peppers and onion so I just added fresh. I added a little salt and pepper nothing fancy. My family loved it and it was good left over!

Good recipe, obviously not too healthy with all the cheese and bacon, so I didn't feel too bad adding two extra pieces of bacon for extra flavor. I'm glad I did, because it may have been bland without it. Quick and easy weeknight meal. Would probably be good with a small dollop of sour cream and chopped green onion on each serving.

Very good. I did add additional seasonings to the chicken itself, and to the potatoes, other than that I made it as posted. Didn't drain the baon fat either.

Added more seasoning salt, garlic, and pepper to season the chicken more and bring out some flavor in the potatoes. Other than that it was pretty good. My kids loves the cheese on the potatoes.

It was a little bland. Hubbie out BBQ sauce on it and that made it a little better. Nothing special though.
