This little pumpkin appetizer was the hit of the Halloween party! I combined Italian seasoning and real bacon crumbles to give it great flavor! Will make many more times :)
This is so good. I even used it for Thanksgiving by making a turkey instead of a pumpkin. I was a hit
I made this for our Halloween potluck today. It is getting rave reviews and they are already requesting that I make again. I took the suggestions from other reviews, replacing one pkg of cream cheese with the garden vegetable. I also omitted the green onions and red pepper in favor of chopped black olives, chopped pepperoni and 1/3 pkg of dry ranch dressing. Scrumptious!
I made this for a Pampered Chef party that I had. Everyone loved it. It's almost too cute to eat! Very good and super easy......
I made this for a Halloween party last year and plan to make it again this year. I also added some diced pepperoni to the cheese mix too. Very good, very cute!
This was very cute and easy to do. I did add about 3 TBSP of dry ranch dressing mix for additional flavor.
Made this recipe for a family get together and everyone loved it!! It was amazingly simple but still very tasty!
Turned out great. I added the face pieces before covering with cheese per another review's suggestion. Next time I would add a package of ranch dressing mix or taco seasoning mix with the cheeses for added flavor.
I'm only giving it 3 stars as written, but would give it 4 stars as I made it. I took other reviewers suggestions and used half garden veggie cream cheese and I added about a Tbsp of ranch dip mix. If I hadn't, I think it would be very bland. Also took other reviewers suggestions and tried to put the face on first (I just used red peppers) but as I put the cheese on it and tried to perfect the shape, the face just kinda got smashed, so I took it off. Also, use the stem from the red pepper instead of the green onion pieces.
Took to work and it was a great hit!!! I will be making it at Christmas and roll in white cheese and make a Snowman face! Needs to be in everyone's Holliday recipe box.
