Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie

Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie recipe
Some classics can't be improved. Pot pie isn't one of them. A delicate crust yields to veggies and chicken in a cheesy sauce. Yes, we said cheesy.

Everyone loved this and it couldn't be easier to make! I used pre-cooked chicken, thawed in the fridge and I microwaved the frozen veggies for a couple mins to thaw them before adding to the mixure. It was a little too cheesy for me, next time I will cut back on the cheese and maybe add more cream of chicken or milk.

This is a quick and tasty meal! My husband like it, and hes very fussy. Dont be alarmed if it seems a little dry when mixing the ingredients, the cheese melts nicely, and creates a sauce. :)

The recipe seemed to small to fit into the 13x9 pan. So it was a thin recipe. The topping was made of unrolled crescent rolls and it did not cover the entire dish and it was soggy. The recipe was too cheesy also. It was very easy to make, but too cheesy and too thin. Not very filling for my husband.

This recipe was so easy and delicious. I would highly recommend it. Dinner in about 30 minutes.

I would agree with the other comments by adding more cooking time & using less cheese. Or maybe cooking dish for half the time, then adding the crescent dough for add'l cooking time.

Was not impressed by this recipe at all; TOO cheesy, veggies were not totally cooked, and the cresent rolls were still doughy.

This is a great fall/winter recipe. My husband and I loved it and we had enough for left overs for the next day. I would bake it a little longer so the crust bakes all of the way, but watch it so it doesn't burn. Overall, great recipe!

Increase baking time to 30-35 minutes. GREAT!

I really liked this, but Kraft really needs to work on the bake time. 25 minutes was not enough to cook all of the frozen veggies and the crescent dough. I added a minute under the broiler. That browned the crust, but the underside was still doughy. This would be great if done right. Next time I will try 30-35 minutes.
