Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie

Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie recipe
Some classics can't be improved. Pot pie isn't one of them. A delicate crust yields to veggies and chicken in a cheesy sauce. Yes, we said cheesy.

I added some Greek seasoning, it was absolutely wonderful, only served 4 though, NO LEFT OVERS :-)

I used Cracker Barrell Cheese extra sharp (8 ozs, cut up in cubes) in lieu of Velveeta cheese. I did cook the bag of mixed vegetables to get them tender and drained. This is absolutely easy to make and it is delicious.

LOOOOOVED this!! Soooo Fast to make. Superb way to use left over rotisserie chicken. Big Crowd pleaser! Used canned corn instead of veggie blend... also used Garlic Butter flavored crescent rolls and their flavor really added to the over dish. Thanks for this recipe!

It was good, but a little too much velveeta for our taste.

The first time I made this I didn't precook the veggies, and they were not done when the crust was done. The next time, I precooked them along with a diced potato, added the soup, and Velveeta and heated until it was melted. MUCH better second time around.

Very easy to put together. I left out a cup of chicken and added a small onion and a couple of garlic cloves to add a bit more flavor. It doesn't taste like a traditional pot pie, but it came together very well and was yummy. Everyone liked it.

I made this for dinner and my picky husband ate it and even took seconds. I used two cans of cream of chicken soup and two cans of the crescent rolls to cover. I cooked and drained the mixed vegetables beforehand. I mixed together the 2 cans of cream of chicken soup, the mixed vegetables, chicken, and the cubed Velveeta before pouring into a 9x13 metal baking pan. Next time I will heat the mixture to melt the cheese before pouring it into the pan. He wondered how broccoli and cauliflower would be in it. I may try that next time along with some sliced mushrooms.

Everything tasted good except that it was just too cheesy for me! My daughter loves cheese and she wouldn't even eat it! If I were to make this again, I would probably take out the Velveeta.

sounds good but for some unknown reason it just doesn't make it.
