Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie

Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie recipe
Some classics can't be improved. Pot pie, it turns out, isn't one of them. A delicate crust yields to veggies and chicken in a—wait for it—cheesy sauce. Yes, we said cheesy.

So good and easy! I doubled the soup to make it extra creamy. I will make this again for sure. Yummy!

This was very good and we are going to add this to our dinner night rotations! I didn't have velveeta so I used sharp cheddar and made real small dices so it would melt better. Here is what I did : i cooked the frozen veggies, drained them, put them back in the pot. added 4 cubed pre cooked chicken breasts ( garlic herb), one can of cream of chicken (low fat) and half a can of cream of mushroom (low fat), the cubed cheese pepper and some garlic salt. mixed it all together then put it in the pan. Covered with reduced fat crescent rolls. I had to stretch them to cover the pan but it was just enough. I then sprinkled a little garlic salt on top of the rolls for more flavor. I ended up cooking it for 30 minutes to get the rolls brown. We loved it!!

I used half a bag of frozen vegetables, added a can of green beans, and fresh red peppers that I cooked with my chicken. Turned out awesome, will definitely make again. 2 yr old loved it. Great way to add in veggies and chicken. My can of cream of chicken was the kind with herbs and it blended in fine.

It turned out great! I took some advice and added cream of mushroom and reduced the cheese. I also added onions and broccoli, yum!!!!

I love this recipe! I was a little skeptical about putting cheese with pot pie, but it turned out amazing. I went a little easy on the cheese by the way and I used pie crust instead of the crescent rolls and I added a slash of milk.

This was delicious and both my husband and I could not get enough of it. I cut the recipe in half since we didn't need 8 servings for the two of us. The only thing I used more than half of was the package of crescent rolls (used 6 for the top) then cooked the last two and had on the side. Will definitely be making again in the future!
