Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie

Cheesy Chicken Pot Pie recipe
Some classics can't be improved. Pot pie isn't one of them. A delicate crust yields to veggies and chicken in a cheesy sauce. Yes, we said cheesy.

I added extra can of cream of chicken soup, only 4 oz. cheese, white washed top with egg white. Used 1-1/2 cans of crescent rolls for the top. Reduced temp. to 350 & baked 35 mins. Crust not doughy at all. Husband & I both loved it.

Excellent!! So easy to make. I don't care for velveta that much so instead I used 1 back colby-jack cheese and 1/3 cup milk and it was great!

I added cut up potatoes and additional vegetables. It was a bit too cheesey for me so I may use less cheese next time, but very good and easy to make.

the vegetables need to be cooked a little beforehand if you use frozen otherwise they won't be completely done.

My daughter made this recipe on last night it was great. Be sure to use the reduced-sodium condensed cream of chicken soup otherwise the Velveeta cheese will cause it to taste salty.

My husband loved it and wants me to make it every week. The only issue i had was with leftovers, the cresent rolls were doughy again. It tasted great the first night, but the next day it was like eating dough. Maybe next time i will cook it longer. Not sure what the problem was.

This was delicious! I changed the recipe a little bit after reading previous reviews. I used two cans of lower fat cream of chicken soup and two cans of mixed vegetables. I topped it with the seamless crescent roll. I always use a whole rotisserie chicken taken off the bone whenever a recipe calls for cooked chicken which makes it very tasty.
