Antipasto Wreath

Antipasto Wreath recipe

Pepperoni and olives folded into two kinds of cheese: yum. Dress them up with roasted peppers and fresh basil and you have a festive app that's holiday party-ready.

I left out the black olives, and we thought it was very good.

I loved the freshness of the basil with the spread.

This was pretty simple though a little messy. I didn't have time to let it sit for an hour before shaping and was still able to get it made into a wreath without a problem. But the flavors didn't jump out at me until hours later. It really needs to sit several hours before serving. But it looks SUPER impressive and I will make it again when I have time to let it sit.

This recipe is awesome, it was such a great hit. I did add salami to the pepperoni to give it a little more variety! I highly recommend!

When you arrive at a party and the hostess runs for her camera to shoot your appetizer, you know you have a winner! Good thing she did, because it was eaten in a "flash"! Could not find the grated three cheese blend, substituted Kraft's shredded version, finely chopped. Next time I would make it the night before and let flavors meld. Great opportunity to get out those cute Holiday cheese spreaders!

I'm not really a fan of black olives. Do you think it would taste good with green olives instead or should I just omit that ingredient altogether?

I have never had luck with cheeseballs. Just never look like the pictures. BUT this time I had fun making it and everyone loved the look and it went! FAST!
