I made this recipe without bacon, and it was pretty good, but next time I think I will add more cheese (maybe to the cream cheese, milk, chicken broth mixture) to make it creamier and a bit thicker. The cream cheese, milk, chicken broth mixture didn't have a whole lot of flavor, but the potatoes on top with the cheese on them tasted great.

This recipe really is wonderful and it is a crowd pleaser. I will use this recipe every time I make scalloped potatoes.

Easy and super yummy! Didn't have the onion & chive cream cheese, so used plain with some onion powder and green onions. Very impressive presentation when I bought it to the table. Will make again!

Wonderful and very easy to make. I substituted the milk for the very vanilla soy milk and used reduced fat cheese, and i still LOVED it!!

Awesome! Served for Christmas dinner and it was a hit! Didn't use as many onions as called for, and still thought it was fine.

Excellent! This is the first time I've me scalloped potatoes and it came out great! I did add a touch of salt and pepper, but that's my own thing. Easy recipe. I never pay attention to the prep time, if you enjoy cooking - you don't get concerned with prep time.
