I would never think of making this with the "secret" ingredient, but the results have been outstanding. Very tasty, good "sponginess" on the bread. Have made repeatedly exactly as recipe states and it comes out great every time.

This bread was very good and moist. I used egg beaters and miracle whip light and it came out perfect!

This is awesome banana bread. The first time I made it I used the miracle whip. The second time I used half miracle whip and half applesauce. The third time I used all applesauce and tastes awesome! I am only using 1/2 cup of sugar as well. I would highly recommend this recipe to anyone who is a banana lover!

I read all of the reviews before I made ths because I don't care for Miracle Whip. There were enough comments saying they could taste it so I substituted Kraft Mayo. I also used only 3/4 cups sugar and added more walnuts. It came out really well, moist and light. Yummy!

This time we tried it with 1/2 cup oatmeal powdered and 1 cup all pupose flour. My family loved. It was very soft and moist.

Made it as muffins. The muffins came out wonderfully moist and yummy. I would cut the salt down to 1/2 tsp and I used chocolate chips instead of nuts. After my son ate one I told him it had miracle whip in it and he said no it didn't. I didn't taste the miracle whip at all. Think of the miracle whip as the oil or butter you would usually add to a bread or muffin recipe. Makes sense.

I was a little freaked out about the Miracle Whip, but this is honestly the best banana bread I can remember having. Perfect amount of moist. Everyone I served it to loved it as well. A++
