I would make this again with my changes, but I thought it was a little bland and dry as written. I added Italian seasoning and garlic powder as well as about half a jar of pasta sauce.

I was out of rotini, so I used egg noodles. Worked just as well. Was a little bland so I added Italian Seasoning and a clove of garlic. Tasted great and looking forward to the leftovers for lunch.

I made this with Polska Kielbasa since that's what I had on hand & it was still really good!

Excellent! Added 1/2 tsp of fennel seed to get more of the sausage taste. Makes 4 LARGE helpings.

excellent... I used ziti noodles instead - didnt have any rotini and used italian dressing instead of balsamic, But with the italian sausage it was wonderful. Thanks

A good basic recipe. A nice change from hamburger pasta casseroles. A little bland, so I added some oregano, basil and a little minced garlic. Everyone came back for seconds.
