Between the buttery mashed Yukon gold potatoes and sour cream and cheddar, this skillet casserole was already sufficiently delicious. Then we added bacon.

my family thought this was just ok.The potatoes need to be a bit creamier. Another half cup of cheese would also be good. I will make this again with a bit of tweeking.

Seemed a little plain, a little cracked black pepper definitely helps

This was sooo good, i made this as a side dish for thanksgiving, it was gone withing 5 minutes. My brother and Fiance were asking for more, I used a whole bag of potatoes, and i just eyeballed the ingredients, and nothing beats like real crisped bacon crumbles on top and extra sharp cheddar cheese, i might try thr super extra new york white cheddar. You can incorporate chives, or herbs, or peas in the potatoes

I made this receipe on the Monday before Thanksgiving and my husband loved it so much that he told me I had to make it for Thanksgiving Dinner. YUMMY! Very easy to make, and I used more bacon. Everyone loved it.

my family thought this was very bland...i was excited about the idea of mashed potatoes without tons of butter, but I ended up adding more butter, salt, pepper, etc to give it flavor.

I made this recipe for Christmas dinner and my family went nuts over it. It will be a family tradition for years to come.

I made a few tweeks to the recipe based on what I had. I used red potatoes and left the peel on. I also used shredded hot pepper cheese (which is pretty much white with bits of color) instead of cheddar. Next time I will try the cheddar so that I can see the contrasting orange color like the picture shows. Oscar Mayer center cut thick sliced bacon is the best so I used that to top. I also added salt and pepper for flavor. Since I did not have a mashed potato whipper, I just mashed the potatoes so it was more of a smashed potatoes than mashed. So next time I will make them more mashed. But otherwise delish! You can't go wrong with loaded mashed potatoes!
