Creamy Chicken with Bacon & Penne

Creamy Chicken with Bacon & Penne recipe
Get inventive with chicken tonight with this new take on pasta in creamy white sauce. Crisp, savory bacon gives the chicken moisture (and flavor!) while it bakes.

I made this with regular cream cheese because it was what I had. I cut the chicken into cubes and tried to cook the chicken and bacon together - it didn't turn out very well! We're going to try again with the CORRECT ingredients and cook the bacon by itself!!

I used chicken tenderloins so I could wrap the bacon around the whole piece of chicken, and it turned out wonderful! I'm not a big cream cheese person, especially flavored cream cheese, but the sauce turned out really good. I used a whole can of chicken broth and a whole tub of cream cheese so I would have extra sauce. Even my kids (8/4/4/3) loved this recipe! Highly recommend it.

the pasta was a little bland, so when i made the sauce with the sour cream (the 2nd time around), i added a little bit more sour cream to make it creamier, & some salt. it came out fantastic!!

I made this for dinner and it turned out very good. I did add a little more cream cheese to thicken it up a little more but that is the only change I made. Will deffinately make this again and try it with mushrooms instead of the tomatoes.

Love this dish!!! Making it again tonight, can't wait to eat it:) I'm going to cook the bacon and chicken seperately this time. Cut the chicken and bacon up, and add them at the end.

My son loved this recipe! It was very simple to make. I had all but maybe a couple of the ingredients. I just picked them up from the store. Takes no time to prepare!!!

Just made this dish for the first time earlier this week... FABULOUS!!! Made it again for dinner tonight!! I sliced the chicken into strips and instead of bacon, I used real bacon bits.... still turned out yummy!

Yummy and easy to make - I recommend seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and pepper first to a give it a little more taste but otherwise GREAT RECIPE!

I changed up the recipe a little, but I really enjoyed it. I made it more like a baked pasta dish. I cut up the chicken in small pieces and cooked in along with the chopped bacon. Then added the cream cheese, chicken broth, tomatoes, and added some parmesan. Then stirred in pasta and put everything in casserole dish and topped with some shredded italian blend cheese and baked. I really loved the flavor of the sauce. Will definitely make again.

This was pretty good the chicken needed more seasoning. The noodles were really good.
