Creamy Chicken with Bacon & Penne

Creamy Chicken with Bacon & Penne recipe
Get inventive with chicken tonight with this new take on pasta in creamy white sauce. Crisp, savory bacon gives the chicken moisture (and flavor!) while it bakes.

I changed up the recipe a little, but I really enjoyed it. I made it more like a baked pasta dish. I cut up the chicken in small pieces and cooked in along with the chopped bacon. Then added the cream cheese, chicken broth, tomatoes, and added some parmesan. Then stirred in pasta and put everything in casserole dish and topped with some shredded italian blend cheese and baked. I really loved the flavor of the sauce. Will definitely make again.

This was pretty good the chicken needed more seasoning. The noodles were really good.

This was a great recipe. I would consider doubling the sauce but that is more of a personal prefernce.

This was a great, quick, and easy recipe. I cut up my chicken, added shredded cheese, doubled the sauce, and omitted the bacon. The kids loved it and they enjoyed helping me cut up the ingredients. My husband has already had me to cook it again and he usually doesn't like trying new recipes but he loved this one.

This turned out a little bland for my taste. I also cut up the chicken and bacon and cooked those together and added them at the end. The sauce was the problem - it is missing something. I don't know what though. I might try adding parmesean cheese or some kind of seasoning to the sauce if I make this again.

Easy and tasty! I have little kids, so I chopped the chicken and bacon into bite-size pieces before cooking. After cooking them, I mixed up the sauce as directed, then mixed the chicken and bacon into the sauce during the sauce- heating phase. Very tasty and creamy with a little zest to it... not bland like most other white sauces I've had. Try it!!!!

I used Chix tenderloins and spiral wrapped the bacon, quicker cooking and not as dry. I also doubled the cream cheese and added a little more broth. Will make again

We liked this, but next time I will double the sauce and use strips of grilled chicken rather than whole chicken breasts, will omit the bacon altogether and will add fresh asparagus.

This sauce is AWESOME! However, it didn't make enough. I doubled the sauce amount and cut up the chicken and bacon. Tossed it all together and baked it with a little cheese on top for 30 minutes. It was a hit and will be making it again really soon.
