Creamy Tomato-Basil Pasta with Shrimp recipe

You might want to hire a waiter to serve this beautiful (but simple) Creamy Tomato-Basil Pasta with Shrimp. It's that close in taste to a high-end entrée.

I have to admit, I had a cold when I made this, so I couldn't taste it. But, when my boyfriend came home, he said "Something smells really good!" Then, when he started eating, he said "This tastes even better than it smells". I asked if he would eat it again and he said Yes. It was very easy to make. I couldn't find the Kraft brand dressing either, so I used another brand. I'm sure you could substitute Italian dressing if you couldn't find the sun-dried tomato. If I make it again, I might add sun-dried tomatoes, fresh garlic and mushrooms.
WE LOVE THIS!! we make it w/white rice now instead and love it even more :)
Fabulous!! I thought the picture looked good and simple ingredients so I had to try it! It was faster to cook than I was expecting and the taste was delicious! I added mushrooms and onions to the tomato (I love veggies) and they just added another flavor! I would definitely make this again!!
this was amazing......i would definitely make this again:) very easy, quick meal to make
It was wonderful. Made it with shrimp the first time and chicken the second time. Both were delicious. Used chicken because cheaper on the budget. It is a keeper recipe!
OMG! so easy to make and so tasty! my husband had three bowls this difently will be in our dinner rotations. Only thing is I used Italian dressing instead of sundried because I couldn't find it in the store and I used dried basil worked perfect!
This is a great dish, easy to make.
I am new to cooking and terrible at it, but I decided to give this recipe a shot based on all the great reviews. I'm glad I did! The recipe was very easy to follow, the only change I made was that I used vegetable broth instead of chicken. It's very good and didn't take too long to make either. I look forward to the leftovers for lunch tomorrow!
Very good creamy sauce! I would skip the tomatoes next time and maybe add broccoli instead.
This just shot up to the top of my list! I used Super Sweet 100 cherry tomatoes from my garden, and fresh basil from my home-grown herbs. What a difference!
