This is delicious. I omitted the flour and used fresh catfish filets. I usually have to fry to obtain a crispy coating, but this was even better tasting than pan fried. It wasnt greasy and has just enough of the right seasoning.
This is a really good recipe. I'm sure it will be done again. Though, I hope to make less mess next time LOL... it has an added sauce for a topper. I didn't make the sauce, it was not needed anyhow. Very good dish.
Just made this tonight with Tilapia fillets....and was so wonderful! Crisp on the outside & very tender/moist on inside! I seasoned the fillets beforehand with Tony Chachere's (Spice n' Herbs), salt & pepper & garlic powder. Did not have Ritz crackers so used Toasted's Crackers (Buttercrisp) and used lite ranch dressing instead of the mayo. And deli style mustard instead of dijon. Baked it a little longer b/c we like it with a darker crust, probably about 25-30 min. I watched it very closely so it would not burn......and it was still so very moist inside & with a beautiful crust on the outside! Will def make this again!
I Loved this! The rest of the family thought it was good, too! I used brown mustard instead of Dijon & regular bread crumbs instead of Panko (it's what I had on hand). I don't think it made a big difference. The breading was perfectly crunchy and the fish perfectly flaky inside. So Yummy!!

My husband isn't a fish eater, and even he said this was good! I thought the breading was amazingly good and very crispy, but kept the fish moist and flaky inside. We combined this with the lemon sauce from another Kraft recipe (Pan-Fried Fish with Creamy Lemon Sauce for Two) and it was a huge hit, even with my picky toddler!
Made this tonight and wow, really wonderful! Easy and so good! The whole family loved it! The crunchy coating is so tasty, with the tender flaky fish inside....yum yum! This is a definite keeper. I made with tilapia. I also made homemade tartar sauce, a quinoa & brown rice microwave pouch and frozen microwave steam veggie medley of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. A simple meal to get on the table that we really enjoyed!
This was good but just needed a little something extra. I will always follow the recipe exactly when it's my first time making it. But next time, I will try some stronger flavors

We aren't big fish fans, so for a fish recipe, this was really good.
