What You Need

lb. small red potatoes (about 12), cut into 1-inch cubes

1/2

cup water

1/2

cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing

1/4

cup KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing

slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked, crumbled

cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

green onions, thinly sliced

Make It

PLACE potatoes in 2-qt. microwaveable dish. Add water; cover with lid. Microwave on HIGH 12 to 15 min. or just until potatoes are tender; drain. Place in large bowl.

REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until completely cooled.

MIX dressings until blended. Add to potatoes with remaining ingredients; mix lightly.

Variation

Prepare using MIRACLE WHIP Light Dressing, KRAFT Lite Ranch Dressing and KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Cheddar Cheese.

Food Facts

When cooking potatoes for a potato salad, remember that the potatoes will continue to cook even after you have drained them. As soon as the cooked potatoes are fork tender, drain them, then run them under cold water to quickly cool them. When in doubt, it is better to undercook the potatoes rather than overcooking them.

Made & reviewed this yesterday (3/2/13). We tried it today, after letting it meld overnight. This tasted MUCH better today. We seasoned this to our liking (salt & pepper only), and WOW!,this is definitely a keeper! Tastes so much better than the store-bought deli salad (same ingredients), and much cheaper, too. Thank You, Kraft for coming up with this recipe.

WoW! This is fantastic! :) I have never in my life liked potato salad (because I don't like boiled eggs or celery, and most are filled with it), but my husband and I both just loved this! Looks like I finally have a potato salad to contribute to potlucks! Thanks Kraft!

I made this for a party and it was a huge hit with both the adults and kids. I have a friend who doesn't like potato salad and she liked this! It's a keeper!

Easy to make. Good overall taste but a little bland. I added some McCormick Smokehouse pepper, dill weed and garlic powder. For the cheddar I used Kraft Triple Cheddar with a touch of Philly. Otherwise, this dish was a hit with the family.

Disregard "quartering" the potatoes, instead, DICE them into 1/2" or smaller pieces. It really needed some chopped onion and more kick.

I liked that it was potato salad with a bit of a kick. It was like a loaded baked potato! I did add 1/4 cup of sour cream and it gave it a little boost!

This is a very hardy potato salad. I made about a pound of it in case my family taste buds were different than mine. I twitted the recipe just a little bit. But, over all they love the new taste. My youngest son doesn't like potato salad of any kind,(he is usually my test taster)he tried it and liked it. This is a good recipe
