Adjusted recipe to make for gourmet 2 yr old grandson who has given up on meat for the moment. This was a hit! Would prefer oz weight on pasta to make substitution easier. Used 8 oz mini fusilli, doubled bacon, used only one 15 oz can petite diced low sodium tomatoes then added 2 cups prepared veggie pasta sauce and omitted tomato paste, reduced onion and garlic a bit. The crushed red pepper was just enough for our taste. Adults liked this too so will add to our recipe box. Thanks for a tasty recipe idea!
