was amazed at how good this really was. After all kinda glorified sheppards pie. I used cream of mushroom garlic or onion soup forget which one,didn't have any fresh mushrooms. Don't like frozen carrots, but always have fresh, so I diced a couple baby carrots and boiled them up. And used the water after boiling the carrots in the recipe. Velveeta is juse too expensive so cubed up about 3/4 cup of mixed cheddar that i had on hand. only other change was I added almost a cup of leftover "saucy joes" that we had from two nights before. I was truly surprised at how good this was, the skillet was cleaned out. Leftovers prob would have been good. I was concerned that the crescent rolls were soggy underneath after skillet came out of over, but after letting sit the recomended time, it was fine. this will be instead of sheppards pie, that's for sure in the future.
