My husband took this to work for potluck and it was all gone by first break. Just remember to use caramel topping NOT caramel syrup.

I was kind of torn if it would turn out ok after tasting each layer (after I mixed it) but after I refrigerated it, topped with the apples, peanuts & caramel topping~it was GONE IN 10 MINUTES!!! I am soooooooo glad that I made 2 because my boys were whining because they didn't get enough from the first one! DEFINITELY a great change to your normal holiday desserts!!! (The only thing I would do differently is omit the red apple and just use green) AWESOME!!! Even my mother (who thinks everything she makes is the best) kept asking what it was called & where I got the recipe)

I recently made this for a church event and got rave reviews! I used pecans instead of peanuts on mine. Everyone there wanted a copy of this recipe!!

I made this for a friend's bridal shower and everyone loved it!! I used Heath toffee bits instead of chopped peanuts which turned out great. My only issue was that 1 tub of Cool Whip was not enough. I had to use an extra tub in order to cover the top. Would definitely make again!

This was so good and had a very seasonal feel with the apples on top. Next time I will use caramel apple dip instead of caramel ice cream topping for a more caramel taste. It may have been the brand I bought though.
