My husband, 4-year-old daughter, and I loved this recipe! We are looking forward to the leftovers for tomorrow. :) I think I might add some chicken next time, but it really is delicious just the way it is.
YUM-O! I cut a lot of calories by using whole wheat penne, fat free sour cream, & reduced fat cream cheese! I added ground turkey (that I seasoned w/salt & onion & garlic powders). Also, after reading reviews-I used LESS sour cream. Leftovers for dinner tomorrow!
I added ground turkey to this recipe and it came out great!! Would definitely make again. I added just a little more sauce (maybe an ounce) because I was afraid it would be too dry since I was adding the turkey to the recipe. It was perfect!
My family and I agreed, this recipe was very good, but not fabulous like some of the other Kraft vegetarian recipes we've tried. It was a lovely, quick weeknight meal. Next time I might use a bit less sour cream, or even omit it all together. Sour cream didnt seem necessary to this receipe and adds fat. Like some of the others, I didnt use diced tomatoes but did use chunky sauce, and it was great. This recipe is definitely a YES for an easy, comfort food type of meal.
Pasta was definitely creamy. I would leave the sour cream out and use less cream cheese. But it wasn't a dish my family went crazy over. Most likely will not make again.
I used rigatoni instead of ziti becasue I couldn't find ziti at the store. This was fast and easy to put together. I didn't care for the taste of the dish - but my 3.5 yr old and husband really liked it. It makes a lot of pasta.
I love this recipe. When it's just me and my son, I can easily freeze left-overs.
This pasta dish was easy to make and SO delicious! I'll definitely be making this one again, the family loved it!
Very tasty and super easy - great weeknight meal!! The husband and kids all made "happy plates" and were asking for more...
