Creamy Baked Ziti

Creamy is the key word here, as sour cream and cream cheese take a tomato, marinara and ziti casserole to a whole new level of pasta deliciousness.

What You Need

cups ziti pasta, uncooked

jar (24 oz.) marinara sauce

can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained

oz. (3/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, cubed

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese with a TOUCH OF PHILADELPHIA

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 375ºF.

COOK pasta in large saucepan as directed on package, omitting salt. Remove from pan; drain. Meanwhile, add marinara sauce, tomatoes and cream cheese to same pan; cook on medium heat 5 min. or until cream cheese is melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently. Return pasta to pan; mix well.

LAYER half the pasta mixture in 13x9-inch baking dish; cover with layers of sour cream, 1 cup mozzarella and remaining pasta mixture. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.

BAKE 20 min. or until heated through.

Ammmazing! So easy and very good! Pair it with a salad and it's perfect. Great leftovers (may need a little more sauce for leftovers).

My son and I made this recipe last night. It was very good and easy enough for his first time in the kitchen. Next time we may add ground beef to make it a little more hearty.

I lightened it up a little by using wheat penne, no-fat cream cheese and light sour cream. I bought a garlic and onion pasta sauce and the result was DELICIOUS! I served it with salad and Crusty Italian bread and it was a full meal.

This is the best baked ziti I've ever made. It was creamy, it was tasty and it was so easy to make. I love it and will make it again.

I added a pound of ground beef, but should have increased the amount of sauce. It was a bit drier than it should have been, but the flavor was wonderful. I also didn't use the tomatoes (picky boys), and that would have increased the moisture, too. Loved it though!
