Slow-Cooker Pantry Chicken Stew

It has a lot of potential. I would use the whole container of cream cheese next time and add some spices, perhaps garlic powder, pepper, seasoned salt. It cooked for 10 hours because I worked late and it was still ok, but my chicken (I used breast meat) got a bit overdone. Served it with egg noodles and some biscuits.

This was really good. I used a can of white meat chicken and added a can of corn and a can of cream of chicken soup. Even my picky husband raved about it!

Leftovers are delicious. Instead of putting over egg noodles, I mixed with white rice. SO GOOD

I made this and just used lower fat cream cheese and added salt pepper & garlic powder. It came out delish! will def make it again.

DELICIOUS! I have made this a handful of times now and this has become a regular in my house. Who doesn't love a crock pot recipe, and I've added a few things. We prefer white meat so I cut up chicken breasts in small chunks instead of thighs, plus season the chicken with Mrs Dash chicken seasoning, basil and parsley. I also add 4-5 quartered potatoes from the start so entire meal is ready at dinner time. I also use all 8 oz of the cream cheese spread.

Yum!! Made it according to recipe except I substituted Kraft Philly Cooking Creme for the cream cheese and it was excellent! I did add some salt and pepper. We served it over egg noodles as it seemed to have more the consistency of stroganoff, and it was delicious. Would do that again next time I make it.

While easy to make, it lacked flavor and plate appeal.

This is very flavorful. I didn't include the mushrooms because I don't eat them. Next time I make it, I am going to use potatoes instead of the chicken. This will also make a very good broth for potato soup. This was a hit with my husband and he is the one that suggested the potatoes.

My husband absolutely LOVED this recipe. I liked it better as a left-over when the cream cheese had a chance to settle & thicken. I served it with egg noodles & it was definitely tasty!
