Mile-High Peanut Butter Pie

Mile-High Peanut Butter Pie recipe
What's better than layer upon layer of chocolate and creamy peanut butter? A pie made of the same, with (even more) warm chocolate and PB drizzled on top.

Sweet and rich! Make sure the cream cheese is softened before you make the recipe. I also used a store bought crust instead of using the vanilla waffers to make the recipe even more quick and easy.

I've made this twice and both times it was a hit. I made it with an Oreo pie crust that i brushed with egg white and baked for 5 minutes. The crust was very crunchy. I'd do it that way again. I didn't have Baker's chocolate so i used chocolate wafers and a little stortening. Melted it together in the mircowave and drizzled over.

Absolutely delicious and so easy to make. I used a prepared cookie crust instead. It was a big hit and people asked me for the recipe.

I made this EXTRA peanut buttery with Nutter Butter cookies instead of Nilla Wafers. AWESOME!!!

I thought the chocolate layer was too thick and overpowered the peanut butter flavor.

This was a hit at Thanksgiving! Next time though I'd skip the chocolate pudding part and double the peanut butter filling. All-in-all, was divinely rich and super yummy!

Does anyone know if this pie would freeze well?

I made this "pie" in a glass bowl for a school party and it did look terrific. There were colleagues who were using utensils to get the last bits out of the bowl.

I took this to a family event and it was a huge hit! The next time I make it, I won't bother melting the chocolate at the top--I don't think it added much to the pie, other than a pretty finish. Otherwise, it was awesome and I will definitely make it again!
