By far the best pot roast I've ever had! Ingrediants are simple and low cost! I spent about $25 (I had to double the recipe for our big family!) and I have left overs for me and someone tomorrow! Will definetly cook again!

I've made this recipe numerous time. For my family, for friends and tonight-for myself to portion out over the week as work meals. SO GOOD. EVERYTIME. However-I do combine this recipe with another Kraft foods recipe-"Slow Cooker Market Fresh Pot Roast" I use 3 lb beef, onion soup mix, A1, beef broth, a splash (or glass!) of red wine, some minced garlic and the potatoes and carrots. If I cook for more-of course I will get a bigger cut of beef and and more veggies. This recipe is always delish and I'm always asked for the recipe. This is SO easy. Tonight after it was done cooking, I pulled the potatoes and carrots out and mashed them with some of the au jus and some savory garlic Philly cream cheese and wowza. I don't know why people rate this recipe as awful bc I truly love to make and eat this recipe!!!!

I changed a few things up after reading the reviews about the A1 taking over the flavor. I reduced the A1 to 2 tbs and used 1 can of beef broth rather than water. It was great. My husband commented several times how good it was so with those alterations - this one is a keeper for my family.

This was horrible. It leave a bad taste in your mouth. I had four diffrent people try this and none of them would eat more than 2 bites. I had to dump it out, and I LOVE A1. Just could not belive how awful this was!!! Do NOT make it!!

I did a little tweaking to fit my family, but it is a good basic recipe and was well received.

the best pot roast I've had in a long time. Needed a little more seasoning but perfect for a cool fall supper.

This was an easy and very good recipe! Family and friends really liked it and asked that I make it again but with a little less A-1. Might keep same amount of A-1 and add a can of cream of mushroom soup next time.

My first recipe with a slow cooker and it was great tasting and so easy to make. Tried a different slow cooker pot roast recipe, but definitely like this one better.

Super delicious! I used just onion soup mix instead of onion/mushroom and used russet potatoes cut into chunks. I would recommend adding a little bit more liquid, I checked when it was almost done and the veggies on top were a little dry. I added some water and cooked another 30 minutes and it turned out great! Definitely a repeat dinner.

The flavor of the A-1 overpowered everything. I might try again, but would substitute beef broth for all but 1 tablespoon of A-1.
