Easy Baked Taco Pie

We love the ground beef, cheese, veggies and sour cream…it's biting into the shattering shell that we can do without. Voilà, taco pie. All you need is a fork.

What You Need

lb. extra-lean ground beef

onion, chopped

Tbsp. chili powder

can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained

pkg. (10 oz.) frozen corn, thawed, drained

whole wheat tortillas (6 inch)

cup KRAFT Mexican Style 2% Milk Finely Shredded Four Cheese, divided

cup BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream

Make It

HEAT oven to 375ºF.

BROWN meat with onions and chili powder in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add tomatoes and corn; cook 5 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.

SPOON 1 cup meat mixture into 2-qt. round casserole; cover with 3 tortillas, overlapping if necessary to fit in dish. Top with 2 cups of the remaining meat mixture and 1/2 cup cheese. Cover with remaining tortillas and remaining meat mixture; cover.

BAKE 25 to 30 min. or until heated through. Top with remaining cheese; bake, uncovered, 5 min. or until melted. Cut into wedges. Serve topped with sour cream.

Garnish each serving with 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro or green onions.

Substitute

Substitute 2 cups bagged frozen corn for the 10-oz. package.

Great! Quick and easy recipe. I added a can of black beans (drained and washed). It was a huge sucess.......

After reading other reviews, I added a packet of taco seasoning (Chipolte). My family loved it, even my picky husband. One daughter thought it should have more seasoning, so next time I might try some garlic and more chili powder.

I liked the taco pie. Next time I make it I will add a taco seasoning packet to it. The meat was bland if you make it as the recipe states.

It did not seem to have enough of the "taco" flavor so I added a package of prepared taco seasoning....what a wonderful difference!

Really good! Next time I'll add salsa or maybe taco seasoning to the meat, didn't taste very taco-ish. I also substituted ground turkey for the ground beef- worked great.

so easy and delicious. I also add ed a can of black beans to the filling,Marvelous. What a great meat with a salad. I will pass this recipe around.
