I liked it and it was easy enough to make. I couldn't find cooking crème so I used 8 oz crème cheese, 1/2 chicken broth and about 1/2 tsp dried garlic. My family wasn't crazy about it, however.
I used this recipe as more of an idea maker. I used plain cream cheese and chicken broth to make the sauce. I added my own herbs to it so it would be more flavorable for us. I used orange peppers and added dried tomatoes, garlic and onions along with fresh spinach. I also used bowtie pasta. What is great about most of these recipes is that you can change and substitute things around and it still works with some tweaking on your part.
I'm less than thrilled about this recipe. I was really hoping this was a keeper, but I didn't care for it at all. I followed the directions as stated, but it tasted bland to me. I won't be making this again.
Twenty minutes!! So good!
Really enjoyed this recipe. Great when you have little time to pull dinner together. I did use 2 tubs of the cooking sauce and thinned it out with a little milk, because I added a bit more pasta and more chicken(not quite doubled). I used Land o Lakes Sautee Express, garlic and herb to cook the chicken breast. YUM.
This recipe is really good. I omitted the pine nuts. I also think it needs more creme. It seemed lacking in creme for my family's taste and also when it is reheated. Next time, I'll add some extra and it would be awesome.
This was soooo easy! My husband and I both loved it! :) Next time, I think I will go ahead and use more of the red pepper.
Five stars because we liked the taste of the savory garlic. No bell peppers. I added caramelized onions, crushed garlic, mushrooms, and Parmesan. Drizzled truffle oil. Found the sauce too thick, so added pasta water until it was the right consistency. A bit rich, but delicious.
I was suprised because the kids loved it!!! Two thumbs up for my husband too.
Delicious! I substituted shrimp for chicken, and used olive oil to cook the shrimp, peppers, and spinach. Loved it!
