This casserole is freakin' AWESOME! The first time I made it we knew it would not be a one hit wonder. We eat this ALL the time! The only thing I do different is sub corn for the onions. It's AH-MAZING!

My husband and I love this recipe. I have also shared it with friends, who like us, have made it several times. All of us use tomatoes with some mexican flavorings to put some more spice to it. This dish is defintely on my list to make over and over again.

Made this for dinner tonight. However due to trying to avoid wheat nixed the tortillas and added a can of hominy and mixed all the sauce in at once. Made three layer with cheese. It was yummy! Served with sour cream and avocado and a simple side salad.

I have made this several times, each time I change it a little. Add some corn, cilantro, black olives. Everyone just loves it. I fixed it for a group of friends last night and they just raved about it. Oh I also have sour cream to top it with! Enjoy Deb

This was very yummy! Only thing I will change next time is bake it longer; 20 minutes was not enough. The middle was barely warm. I'm thinking an additional 10-15 minutes may get it hot enough all the way through.
