Ultimate Creamy Beef Stroganoff

What You Need

lb. beef sirloin steak, cut into strips

1/2

cup chopped onions

Tbsp. butter

1/2

lb. sliced fresh mushrooms

1/4

tsp. pepper

tub (10 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Original Cooking Creme

1/3

cup fat-free reduced-sodium beef broth

cups hot cooked noodles

Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Make It

COOK meat and onions in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 5 to 6 min. or until meat is done. Remove from skillet; drain. Cover to keep warm. Add butter to skillet; cook until melted. Add mushrooms and pepper; cook 5 to 6 min. or until mushrooms are tender.

ADD cooking creme; cook and stir 2 min. Return meat mixture to skillet; stir in broth. Cook 5 min. Remove from heat; let stand 5 min.

SERVE over noodles; sprinkle with parsley.

Very easy to make. My husband hates mushrooms, so i made the mushroom separate for myself. I was thinking of trying this recipe with shrimp

I thought this was ok. Honestly I thought it was a little overly creamy and thick and a little bland. It was missing that all important tangy kick that you get from sour cream. Don't get me wrong...I love the philly cooking cream...just not big on this one. Not bad...not great.

Very good and easy. Although I did use ground beef instead and also added a little of the savory garlic cooking cream to give it just a little more flavor. But great recipe.
