COOK on LOW 8 to 10 hours (or on HIGH 4 to 5 hours); stir.
DISCARD bay leaves. Remove 1 cup soup; place in shallow bowl. Mash peas and vegetable pieces in soup in bowl with fork. Return to slow cooker; stir.
