I use this recipe instead of a potato dish like and airy great with gravy or sauces. Great when the rest of the meal is heavy I'm going to use this with prime rib next.
So, for what course a meal would this be served? Just serve on a plate and eat with a fork or to be put on crackers? You liken this recipe to those of more tradition cream puff.... but I can't see this as a dessert. You truly have me stumped. The system also forces me to have a rating which I was trying not to do at all. So sorry, I'm giving it one star.
Tried this recipe as written. I love velveeta, love cream cheese, ritz crackers and eggs. Why didn't I love this? It was so bland, I could hardly taste the cheese. My fiance couldn't taste the chives (I agreed with him). The only reason we'll try this again is if we make some major changes... different cheeses, add hot sauce, some bacon, garlic powder & onion powder for flavor.
