It was ok made like that. But adding a pack of ranch dressing made it less boring

I have made this, but I add sweet red Bell Peppers, chopped onions, and olives chopped, also a 1/4 cup of sour cream, salt & pepper to taste...I CAN ASSURE U IT GETS NO BETTER THAN THIS...

This recipe was a hit with my WHOLE family & that's a big crowd!! The only change that I made was serving it warm, which is a lot better than serving it cold but otherwise this has become the go to potato salad for ALL family get-togethers!!! :)

I made this a few weeks ago for our housewarming. We were expecting 20 to 30 people so I tripled the recipe. There was very little left and all the comments were positive. I agree 20 minutes is way to long to cook the potaotes. I may try again, but with some tweeks (sour cream instead of mayo and buttermilk). Will add salt and pepper next time also.

Wonderful , I doubled the recipe because we were going to a cook-out. I brought home an empty bowl, and request for the recipe from friends. 9/5/11

I made this recipe just as written for a family get together this past weekend & I brought a lot home with me. I intend to make it again with changes. Next time, I'll try roasting the potatoes instead of boiling, I'll use sour cream instead of mayo & buttermilk & I think I might try it as a warm dish rather than a cold dish. Also, I think I will sprinkle the cheese & bacon on right before serving. This was an okay dish but nothing to write home about

I made this for a cook out and it was a BIG hit, I added some salt and pepper and that was it. Now if you are making this for a cook out like I did you need to double if not triple recipe, I made first batch and it was way to small so I had to make another patch but worth the extra work I had to do.
