Easy, but I didn't read the part where you add the cheese to muffin mix, so the top was hard, will make again and not make this mistake

My kids loved this one. I used banana pepper instead of jalapeno and used 2 boxes of cornbread mix. Also layered some cheese between the meat and cornbread. Added a tablespoon of taco sauce. Usually my kids are really picky but they liked this one a lot.

This meal was so easy to make and very yummy! We had friends over and everyone enjoyed seconds. We served it in bowls with sour cream because that's how we all eat chili. I also used ground turkey instead of hamburger meat.

We absolutely loved this meal. If you’re planning to serve this to a family of four, then I say double up the ingredients. But this was just fine for my family of 3. I used a 2qt casserole dish, used a can of green chilies instead of jalapeños, didn’t use the whole can of black beans, and seasoned my meat with Lawry’s & black pepper along with the cumin and garlic. I used Marie Calendar Honey Butter cornbread mix (but didn’t use all of the batter) which provided a nice contrast to the spicy meat mixture, and I added chives to my cornbread mix. Making this again real soon…

i used 2 boxes of cornbread mix and it seemed like too much cornbread for our family.they didn't ask for seconds,so i figure it wasn't a hit.it's ok,but i like other recipes better

I used 2 lbs of ground beef and two muffin mixes. My family loved it!

So so good and so so easy! I would definitely double the meat next time. I used a can of green chilies instead of a jalapeno and I thought it turned out great! We loved it!

I used a 16 oz corn bread mix (marie calendar). I will double the meat next time too. It was not enough meat, but the bread rocked! I used two jalapeno peppers and that might have been too much! I also used half a packet of hot taco seasoning. I made it a little too spicy this time, but the sweet of the corn bread was awesome!

I used gr turkey and added some corn to meat mixture, then I thickened meat mixture with a bit of cornstarch before putting in the baking dish. When making the cornbread, I added additional buttermilk to thin, then I dropped it by spoonfuls over meat mixture and distributed it evenly.
